David A. Wheat, CPA, FLMI, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, joined HLR America in March of 2010. David has over 25 years in the insurance industry.
Prior to joining HLR America, David served as the Chief Financial Officer of ING Americas, leading finance and risk activities across the United States, Canada and Latin America. Prior to joining ING Americas, David was a partner in the Ernst & Young Insurance Practice.
David is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a graduate of the University of Louisville. He is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).
At HLR America, David is responsible for the Finance, Corporate Actuarial, Treasury, Risk Management, and Controller functions.

Clint J. Thompson, FSA, MAAA, Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, joined HLR America in June of 2011. Clint has over twelve years of experience in the insurance industry. At HLR America, Clint has overall responsibility for the enterprise risk management program and internal capital model.
Prior to joining HLR America, Clint served as Senior Risk Officer for AEGON USA where he was responsible for coordinating market risk and asset-liability management. Previously with AEGON, Clint was a Senior Director of Risk Management responsible for pricing, in-force management, risk reporting, and collateral and liquidity management within the institutional markets business. Over the course of his career, Clint has held a variety of positions in pricing, valuation, financial planning, and financial reporting within both insurance and reinsurance businesses.
Clint holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Mesa State College and a master’s degree in actuarial science from Ball State University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Bill E. Pyatt, FSA, MAAA, Vice President and Corporate Pricing Actuary, joined HLR America in March of 1998.
Bill has 18 years of pricing experience in the insurance industry in addition to his HLR reinsurance pricing experience. His background includes both Life and A&H product development for a variety of marketing and distribution systems. His reinsurance background includes both Life and A&H from a traditional as well as a financial solutions perspective.
Bill holds a bachelor’s of arts degree from Eisenhower College and a Master’s degree from Duke University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
At HLR America, Bill provides corporate pricing oversight and input to the pricing areas of the various business units, in addition to overseeing the Corporate Modeling and the Model Steward areas. Additionally, Bill provides actuarial and business support to the marketing and executive areas.

Daniel J. Hamilton, ASA, MAAA, Assistant Vice President – MoSes Steward, joined HLR America in July 2006. He carries more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry with special focus on financial reporting and actuarial analysis.
Prior to joining HLR America, Daniel served as executive director for RGA Reinsurance Group of America, Inc. In addition to leading division forecasts and product development, he implemented reinsurance pricing and marketing for the company’s Hong Kong and Taiwan markets. Daniel has also gained extensive experience in his work with both Phoenix Mutual Life and John Alden Life. A graduate of Yale University, he is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
At HLR America, Daniel is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of MoSes and its applications.

Enna I. Pietrantoni, Associate Vice President, Operations Risk Management and Compliance Officer, joined HLR America in April of 2004. Enna has over fifteen years of audit experience and seven years experience in the insurance industry. At HLR America, Enna is responsible for coordinating a robust internal control and governance program and ensuring transparent reporting on the company’s compliance and operational risks. Her prior position at HLR America was Audit Manager.
Prior to joining HLR America, Enna served as audit manager for Constellation Brands, where she was responsible for the annual risk based audit plan and implementation of a company-wide internal control structure to satisfy the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley.
Enna holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint John Fisher College.
