R. Jeffrey Wright
R. Jeffrey Wright, FSA, MAAA, Vice President - Finance and Risk Management, Mortality Solutions, joined HLR America in February 2009. Jeff brings over 15 years of life insurance experience to the position.
In 2005 Jeff joined Scottish Re where he led the conversion of the legacy ING models to the MoSes platform. Prior to Scottish Re, he served as Director of Pricing from 2003-2004 for ING Re, where he maintained the ING pricing system in ALFA. Earlier in his career he worked for ING on the direct side of the business in various actuarial capacities since 1995.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s of arts degree in economics from Duke University and Master of Actuarial Science degree from Georgia State University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
At HLR America, Jeff is responsible for overseeing the actuarial modeling, valuation, financial reporting and inforce management functions for the Mortality Solutions business unit.
