Steven A. Savery
Steven A. Savery, FSA, MAAA, Assistant Vice President - Actuary, joined HLR America in February 2009. Most recently, Steven served at Scottish Re where he specialized in mortality research and prior to that he worked with ING Reinsurance.
Steven earned his bachelor’s degree in math from the United States Naval Academy and his master’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Wisconsin. He has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) since 1997 and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) since 1994.
At HLR America, Steven’s main responsibilities are to develop and manage the company’s internal experience studies for the Mortality Solutions Group.
