Lonny Meewes
Lonny Meewes, FSA, MAAA, Vice President Marketing - Mortality Solutions, joined HLR America in February 2009. Lonny’s career spans over fifteen years in the life insurance and reinsurance industry. Most recently, Lonny served as Senior Vice President and Actuary for Scottish Re and was responsible for the pricing and treaty functions.
Prior to joining Scottish Re, Lonny served as Assistant Vice President and Associate Actuary with Universal American Financial Corp. Lonny was an Assistant Actuary for Royal Maccabees Life Insurance Company, and began his career as an Actuarial Analyst with the Federal Home Life and Harvest Life Insurance companies.
Lonny holds a bachelor’s of science degree in applied mathematics (magna cum laude) from the University of Central Florida. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
At HLR America, Lonny is responsible for marketing the Mortality Solutions Group.
