Paul Jones
Paul Jones, Assistant Vice President - Underwriting, joined HLR America in October 1998. Paul has over 23 years of underwriting experience.
Paul joined the Hannover Group in March of 1991 in South Africa. He moved to the Head Office in Germany in 1996. Paul has experience in various markets including South Africa, UK and Europe and Asia, covering numerous products.
His past experience includes underwriting traditional business including critical illness, disability income and group business. Paul managed the underwriting office in Durban, South Africa providing underwriting services, training and client relationship management. Paul managed the Group Life unit in Johannesburg before moving to Germany.
Paul is a member of AHOU, Southeastern Underwriters Association and also a member of the Continental American Underwriting Study Group.
At HLR America, Paul is responsible for the facultative underwriting department which also includes managing underwriting processes within Merica-US™, Hannover’s automated underwriting system.
