Joseph Thairu
Joseph Thairu, FFA, FSA, MAAA, Assistant Vice President and Assistant Actuary, joined HLR America in January 2003 with six years of experience in the South African Life Reassurance market, where he worked for the South African subsidiary of Hannover Life Re.
Joseph graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Nairobi and thereafter a post-graduate diploma in Actuarial Science from London’s City University. He is a Fellow of Faculty of Actuaries (FFA), Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
At HLR America, Joseph is responsible for technical support in the Insurnace Risk Management area.
