David Nussbaum

David Nussbaum, FSA, MAAA, Vice President – Group Life & Special Risk, joined HLR America in January 2000 with 22 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry.

Prior to joining HLR America, he was Vice President at Swiss Re Life , where he ran the Group Life and Special Risk Departments. He was responsible for the profit center including marketing, underwriting, actuarial and administration.

David has also published articles in and other trade publications and has been a speaker at the Society of Actuaries and other industry meetings. In 1978, he began work at Guardian Life and Home Life Insurance Company. He has a Master of Science degree from New York University

David now heads up and is responsible for all aspects of Group Life and Special Risk products.
