James J. Mahoney

James J. Mahoney, ASA, Associate Vice President and Portfolio Actuary, joined HLR America in June 2001 from the Newport Group, where his primary responsibilities included the evaluation and funding of employee-related liabilities with broad-based, corporate-owned life insurance (COLI).

Previously, Jim was an Assistant Actuary with American Pioneer Life Insurance Company, where he served in actuarial pricing, valuation and corporate modeling capacities for eight years.

Jim’s responsibilities at HLR America are to support the Chief Actuary in all actuarial areas, especially technical support as required for pricing, valuation and experience monitoring.
