Curt R. Hagelman

Curt R. Hagelman, Senior Vice President – Chief Marketing Officer, has been in the reinsurance industry since 1978. He joined HLR America in March 2001.

Curt has worked in the underwriting, actuarial and marketing fields, both domestically and internationally with reinsurers such as Frankona, Gerling Global and Aachen Re (now ERC Frankona).

He has also been involved with Direct Life and Health Insurance Company subsidiaries focusing on marketing and operations (Academy Insurance Group and Sterling Holdings). Curt has been consistently involved in several industry organizations, most recently serving on the ACLI International Insurance Committee.

His responsibilities include oversight of strategic marketing planning and new business development.
