Cliff Ball

Clifford T. Ball, Assistant Vice President– joined HLR America in May 2008. He brings a wealth of experience to the position, having 15 years of life insurance experience serving in various capacities.

Prior to joining HLR, Cliff spent many years with Nationwide Financial Services, where he specialized in a number of areas – including corporate insurance markets, variable life financial reporting and cash flow testing. He directed a team responsible for pricing and developing bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) products, and coordinated valuation and forecasting processes , streamlining financial reporting operations and systems. Additionally, Cliff modeled assets for Nationwide’s cash flow testing model.

Cliff earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Kent State University, and continued on to receive his master’s degree in economics. He is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries.

At HLR, Cliff is responsible for pricing and developing new products in the Financial Solutions market segment.
